July 2007

Mommy got an iPhone at the end of June, which Kayci loves to use. This is one of the first photos they took with it. I like this photo for a few reasons - first, it's a picture of my Bitty. Next, it was taken with the iPhone. It's also a very sweet photo. And finally, I LOVE seeing Kayci's shoulders in a sun dress.

You can almost hear her saying here "can I use the iPhone, Mommy? Can I? Can I use it it? Please?"

I came in one day to this scene at lunch time. Now THAT is a happy girl who's enjoying her summer with Mommy!

Our friends Lori and Jeff gave us some tickets to the circus. Kayci was most excited about seeing the clowns. The day of the show I was sittign at my desk at work when I got this photo via e-mail.

Kayci dressed herself up like a clown and Mommy captured it. Notice the different shoes. What attention to detail! (that's Mommy's girl!)

Give a kid a ringmaster hat, some cotton candy and a seat at the circus and that makes for one happy kid!

Oh my goodness! When Bitties attack!

I love this photo because it shows that even when Bitties get everything they want, Daddies are still not free to mock the circus.

"That's when I was saying 'because it's the CIRCUS!!!'"

Kayci's dance class danced at Blue Bell's 100-year birthday celebration. This is Happy Kayci just before her performance.
Kayci in her dance costume at the Blue Bell celebration. She was really cute, event though she did look like a midget mime.

At Blue Bell's 100-year birthday celebration there was all the free ice cream you could eat! They had every popsicle they make and 46 flavors for tasting.

Kayci had a great time coloring at one of the kids stations. She stayed there for almost 30 minutes doing art! That kid loves art!

Napoleon Dynamite Gavin came over to spend the weekend with us for his birthday and to go camping. It was really rainy, so our camping trip got cancelled. So we set up a tent in the living room, made hamburgers and oven s'mores and watched movies. The kids slept in the tent. Everything was great.

...until the middle of the night when Kayci started throwing up everywhere. It turns out that she had picked up a stomach bug somewhere. But Daddy was proud of how brave she was. When she threw up she didn't even cry. The next day she was runnig a fever and spent the entire day trying to convice us that she felt fine and really could go out and play.
