Kayci's school class went on a field trip
to a place near Brenham called "Miracle Farms" where all the
kids got to ride horses and learn to rope cattle. As you can
see from this photos, little cowgirl Kayci had a GREAT time
riding the horse.
We went to the Kemah Boardwalk with Dad, Najwa and Adam. Kayci
decided that she wanted Adam to ride the airplane ride with
her. That girl loves her Uncle Adam!

I've never seen a kid have so much fun riding
a giant chicken! Kayci loves riding the carousel. It's one of
her her favorite rides, and I love this photo because you can
see the absolute joy on her face.
Why does Mommy look so scared? It only goes,
like, 2 miles an hour...
Actually, if I had to hold onto my baby while she rode a giant
chicken, I'd probably be scared, too.
It doesn't matter what the score is - Kayci
wins every time.
Kayci's class performed at the ice cream festival
in Brenham. It turned out to be her big performance because she
got Strep Throat and couldn't dance at her recital.
We went out to Sommerville
Lake one afternoon to go fishing. Daddy did most of the fishing
(catching nothing, as always) and Kayci spent her time playing
with the worms we were using as bait.
